Welcome!

Ja Adams began writing as soon as she could hold a pencil.  Her first work to appear in print was a poem she wrote in second grade. In third grade she began writing plays that she continued to produce and direct until graduating from high school. By age 12 Ja was writing short stories and novelettes long hand in spiral notebooks.   Friends anxiously awaited for the next chapter.  And by age 14, she was writing motivational and political speeches. After graduating from college, she spent 20 years working with at risk populations and writing grants and early childhood curricula. However, it was not until the new millinium that she achieved her life long dream of publishing a novel.  Her first book Chameleon: a tale of love, deceit, and passion (2002) www.geocities.com/jaadamsauthor won numerous awards.

Purple Haze ISBN 097200503

Following Pineview Class of 1977 from high school graduation to the 25th reunion.  Graduation night, a teenage couple, two African American youth of an elite click are murdered.  In the following time span there are others who meet with an untimely death causing Pineview to become plorized along the color line.  The three survivors conclude someone wants them dead.  But why? To answer that question, Landan Colquin, one of three survivors of the elite click, decides to begin an investigations of his own.  But he does not put all the pieces together until an unexpected individual enters back into his life.  Landan finds fulfilling love at a time he least expected.  A level of love that one can only hope for once in a lifetime.  Janda Colquin joins her twin brother in his pursuit to bring the killer to justice.  As they did deeper and deeper into their investigation, they become convinced the killer is a fellow classmate.  Then the investigation takes an unusual twist when Camile Ardreaux (female villan from Chameleon) enters the scene with her manipulative charm of poison.

If you think Chamelon had you on the edge, you haven't experienced anything yet until you read Purple Haze.  -Reader Review-
